Celebrate Pluto Fest and Food Trucks

Celebrate Pluto Fest along with some tasty food.

Plan a weekend in Streator to celebrate Pluto Fest and the Streator Walldogs Food Truck Festival on Saturday, September 16th, in Streator's City Park, starting at 11 AM. This event is free and will coincide with the farmers market.

Pluto Fest honors Streator native and astronomer Clyde Tombaugh, who discovered Pluto in 1930. This event will feature homebrew beer tasting, live music, family activities, souvenirs, Pluto T-shirts, and Fine Field Pottery mugs and glasses.

Music will be provided by Truman Ridge starting at 11 AM, along with Street Corner Blues at 3 PM. Some seating is provided, but lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.

The Walldog Food Truck Festival will feature over ten food trucks and begins at 11 AM. Proceeds from the fest will go toward humanitarian and community service projects, the Walldogs Committee, and public art and beautification throughout Streator.
