Halloween in the Corridor

It’s that time of year that turns spooky, and in the towns of the Heritage Corridor, there are plenty of events for those seeking a boo-tiful time.

MOVIE NIGHTS

The Old Joliet Prison is showing two movies during the month, with proceeds benefiting the Rialto Square Theatre and Joliet Area Historical Museum. On Friday, October 23, Beetlejuice will be showing. On Saturday, October 24, the movie of the night will be Ghostbusters.

You can purchase an 8’ foot circle (for two people) for $50, and up to four additional people for your circle for $20. (All prices do not include Eventbrite fees). Social distancing guidelines will be enforced, please visit jolietprison.org to purchase tickets.

Experience these, and many more local haunts–many documented by paranormal researchers–on board the Starved Rock Trolley Ghost Tour!

$30.00 per person for an hour and a half tour. Times are 6pm and 8pm. Safety protocols will be in place.

Find out when you immerse yourself in our one-of-a-kind, live action, Tactical Laser Tag experience. You'll find yourself immersed in a post-apocalyptic world where a zombie outbreak has run rampant and wreaked havoc on the world. Your battleground is an old lab where scientists had been working on creating the cure to the zombie infection before being overtaken by a horde of the undead.

$35 per 40-minute game. Games start at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm and 7pm

Search for spooktacular items in the forest with your friends, families or scout groups! Some items may be natural, while some items may be SUPER natural! Other items may be unnatural! Can you find them all as you meander through the forest? Stop by Four Rivers Environmental Education Center to get a map of the route and a list of items, and see if you can find them all! It will be a fun time!
