National Wine Day

 

National Wine Day is May 25th! How can we celebrate in the Heritage Corridor? Let’s get out there and enjoy some wine. Read on for some great ideas from our members.

Sable Creek Winery – When the warmer months begin, stop at Sable Creek Winery for a refreshing wine slushie! Pairs great with an artisan cheese plates or dessert charcuterie. Flavors change frequently. You can also pick up a slushie kit to make at home. 

Wine & Cheese Co. – They will always help you find the perfect bottle of wine to enjoy their or take home. Stay and try their hummus tray or a wonderful meat and cheese tray or meal while you’re there.

Bishops Hill Winery – our newest addition to Wine Through the Corridor. Make sure to go and enjoy their nine wine tasting while having a great charcuterie tray. Make sure to reserve your space ahead of time. 

CatsEye – A Wine Bar – A local favorite spot with wonderful wines and even better entertainment. They recently started making amazing charcuterie trays. They’ll sell out every weekend, so make sure to order ahead.

August Hill Winery & Illinois Sparkling Co. – How can you go wrong at August Hill? Enjoy one of their Wine Tasting Kits to try at home or stay for take a bottle home from their store front. Are you a Wine Club Member? Look for their specials month to month.

Clarks Run Creek Wine & Gifts – Enjoy a tasty glass of wine overlooking Downtown Utica. A wonderful spacious lounge that will give you a taste of local culture. Enjoy!

HopScotch & Vine – Recently updated and better than ever! Enjoy a great menu with a great glass of wine in the heart of Downtown Plainfield. 

PK Unkorked Wine Shop – a perfectly located store in historic Downtown Pontiac. Enjoy a relaxing glass of wine in their cozy lounge area.
