READ ON!The Forge Charitable Adventure is excited to welcome Kyle Maynard for a special screening event, May 2nd, 2021. Sit back and enjoy his new ESPN documentary, A Fighting Chance followed by a question and answer session immediately after.
Kyle was born with a rare condition known as congenital amputation which left him with arms that end at the elbow and legs that end near his knees. Early on, he learned how to live his life independently and without prosthetics.
He thrives on physical challenges and is now a champion wrestler, CrossFit certified instructor, the owner of No Excuses CrossFit Gym, and a competitive Mixed Martial Arts fighter. He also carry titles such as, world record-setting weightlifter, a skilled mountaineer, and A New York best-selling author of his life story, “No Excuses.”
The event starts at 4:30pm with a viewing of the hour-long documentary, followed by the Q&A session at 5:30pm. This is a free event, however donations of $10 us suggested. All proceeds will go to SEASPAR and The Forge Charitable Adventures.
