Friends of the Chicago Portage invite you to discover the hidden places where Chicago was born. Follow the route of Joliet and Marquette, the first Europeans who discovered Chicago in 1673.

On Saturday, June 14th you'll board a deluxe mini-coach and travel in air conditioned comfort as experienced tour guides lead you to the hidden places where Chicago was born.

The four hour tour begins at 10am at the Chicago Portage National Historic Site located at 4800 S. Harlem in Lyons, IL. The tour costs $40 for adults with a $5 discount for students and seniors.
