Musical Color Purple

The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is planning a motorcoach trip to downtown Chicago to see the Color Purple. Oprah Winfrey presents this musical about love for a limited engagement at the Cadillac Palace Theatre in Chicago.

Join the friends of the Bureau on Thursday, June 21st to experience this inspiring family saga from the classic Pulitizer Prize winning author Alice Walker. Jeannette Bayardelle and Felicia P. Fields from the New York production join Destiny's Child's Michelle Williams, Rufus Bonds, Jr. from Disney's The Lion King and LaToya London of American Idol in the Chicago premiere of Oprah Winfrey presents THE COLOR PURPLE. Set to a joyous score featuring jazz, ragtime, gospel and blues, THE COLOR PURPLE is a story of hope, a testament to the healing power of love and a celebration of life.

The $110 package includes motor coach transportation into the city, snacks on the way up, dress circle tickets (these are a great location) at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, and transportation back.
