Sled Dog Demos and Awareness

Free Spirit Siberian Rescue is a non profit organization that will be hosting this exciting event. You will learn about the fascinating characteristics of the Siberian Huskies and their relatives. You will also learn their adaptability to the elements that made the Siberian an irreplaceable team member of early settlers of the Alaskan territories. There will be educational talks with video presentations throughout the day as well as outdoor presentations at 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm. Open to the public no charge. Eagle Watch Weekend

9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Outdoor awareness weekend hosted by the Illinois Audubon Society will present a raptor awareness presentation held each day by the World Bird Sanctuary featuring a live bald eagle. Seating is limited. Eagle viewing and birds of prey shows at 10:00 am, Noon, 2:00 pm, & 4:00 pm. Tickets only available on the 24th and 25th.
Eagle Watch Weekend

Live Eagles and Raptors program by the Illinois Raptor Center at Noon, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Native American Eagle Dancer at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. High power scopes available for indoor and outdoor eagle viewing as the Bald Eagles soar down from their roost trees to feed on the fish in the waters below the dam.
