Santa's Surprise Workshop: Ottawa Scouting Museum
1100 Canal St., Ottawa; Make a surprise gift for Mom or Dad. Bring Grandma or Grandpa to help and keep the surprise a secret! This is a woodworking activity suitable for youths 4 and older. Holidays at the Museums: Hume-Carnegie Museum
901 Washington St., Mendota; This event begins at 5:00 pm with hors d'oeuvres at the Hume-Carnegie Museum. At 6:00 pm, musical entertainment will be provided in the Country Chapel at the Breaking the Prairie Museum. Guests may then cross 8th Street to enjoy delectable desserts at the Union Depot Railroad Museum, beginning at 6:30 pm. $10.00 per person.
