America's Pull at the Marshall-Putnam Fair Features the Best of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League - July 13, 2019

The action kicks off at 5:30pm on July 13, 2019.  America's Pull is part of the 98th Annual Marshall-Putnam Fair in Henry, IL.

Tractor pulling is known as the "world's heaviest motorsport."  Each tractor has a simple goal - pull the weight as far as possible.  Although, it might not be as simple as it seems.  These modified vehicles are going up against each other, as well as the sled box they need to pull.  As the tractor pulls the sled, a weight is mechanically winched forward.  This means that the job gets tougher the further down the course the tractor goes.

These modified vehicles (which can be farm tractors, tractors or trucks - depedning on the class) may have engines that include drag racing automotive engines, jet turbins, aircraft or industrial engines in various configurations.  The trucks come in two wheel drive, four wheel drive, and semi.

America's Pull kicks off at 5pm.  The event features Champion Tour Classes !including Super Modified 2WD Trucks, 10,000 Pro Stock Tractors and Light Weight Super Stock Tractors) and Silver Series Classes (Super Stock Diesel Trucks, Mini Rod Tractors and Super Modified Tractors).  Admission prices are $25 for adults, $10 for children aged 6-12.  There is limited advanced reserved seatign for $35.00, which can be purchased by calling the Fair office at (309) 364-2814.

The pit areas are open - no charge to enter the area.  Seating opens at 2pm.  General admission tickets will be available at 2pm on Pull Day at the Ticket Office.
