Where is the Heritage Corridor?
The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) encompasses the communities and counties along the historic 97-mile Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor. The Heritage Corridor spans from the Chicago Portage Area just southwest of Chicago to LaSalle-Peru including the counties of Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Putnam. The region conveniently located along I-55 from Chicago to Joliet along I-80 west to LaSalle-Peru.

Boughton Ridge Golf Course

Situated on 45 beautiful acres, this nine-hole, 2205-yard, par 32, executive length Bolingbrook golf course features contoured fairways and water on seven holes. The Lily Cache Creek meanders through five holes and feeds a large lake, which borders three holes. Twenty-one sand traps lay in wait and provide plenty of challenge to even the strongest players. Watered tees, fairways and greens provide lush turf and reward well-played shots.

Ashbury's Bar & Grill at Boughton Ridge is an American restaurant and banquet hall perfect for a night out with the family, weddings banquets, and more!

Mistwood Golf Club:

Recently sweeping the national award season, Mistwood Golf Club was selected as GOLF Magazine's Renovation of the Year, one of Golf Digest's Best New Courses, and one of Golf Range Magazine's Top 50 Public Ranges! Designed and renovated by course designer Ray Hearn, Mistwood Golf Club features 20 St. Andrews-style sod-wall bunkers, truly bringing a feeling of Scotland to the Midwest. Additionally, Mistwood has five tee placements per hole with the ability to now play over 7,000 yards. Part of the recent renovation also included the construction of a brand new 5,000 square foot Performance Center at the foot of our driving range that offers custom club fitting, club repair services, and lessons. Construction of a new Scottish-style, 26,000 square foot clubhouse is currently underway, and will be complete in the summer of 2015. Come experience Chicagoland's premier public course. Bolingbrook Golf Club

The course, once an open field, now offers elevated tees, rolling fairways and 7 lakes. Highlights include a true island green par-3 and 600 yard par-5 that should play with the prevailing wind.

Measuring 4,931 yards to 7,104 yards from 5 sets of tees, Bolingbrook Golf Club will prove to be both challenging and fair for players of all abilities and a terrific compliment to any function.  This 18-hole championship golf course was designed by acclaimed course architects, Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest.

Broken Arrow Golf Course:

Located in Lockport, IL, just 40 miles southwest of Chicago’s Loop, Broken Arrow features 27 Holes of Championship Golf, Driving Range, and Banquet Venue. Broken Arrow utilizes the “Prolink”GPS System by GPS Industries on its entire fleet of Club Car Golf Carts. These large and easy to use systems act as “virtual caddies” designed to give you all the information you need. At a glance, golfers can see the entire hole, hazards, bunkers, and rough areas. This system also allows the golf shop to issue weather warnings and other messages to golfers. The clubhouse features a full service golf shop, snack bar, locker rooms, restaurant, and banquet room. Accommodating up to 250 guest events, the Banquet Room is perfect for making your dream event a reality! Pine Hills Golf Club & Restaurant:

Pine Hills is a family owned business committed to excellence. Unique to Central Illinois, Pine Hills is nestled in the Covel Creek Valley and is surrounded by thousands of trees. The course began as Ottawa Country Club and came to its South location in exchange for an original Naplate site purchased by Libby Owens-Ford in the 1920's. Pine Hills Golf Course was designed by Thomas Bendelow and opened in 1924. Bendelow was the designer of many famous golf courses including Medinah and Olympia Fields in Illinois. Pine Hills offers a one of a kind experience of golfing in nature and poses a challenge to both the beginner and the seasoned golfer. Private and group golf lessons are available at Pine Hills. The Club offers an easy, family friendly atmosphere and includes a Pro Shop, casual dining area with panaromic views of the course, outdoor patio and a comfortable bar.

The Restaurant serves award winning Chicago Style Pan & Thin Crust Pizza, homemade tenderloins, soups, salads and sandwiches. The Pine Hills dinner menu continues to expand with pasta on Wednesday, fried chicken on Thursday, cod, prime rib and much more on Friday & Saturday.
