Flight Night Progressive Dinner

On March 14, August Hill Winery, The Lone Buffalo by Tangled Roots Brewing Company and Starved Rock Lodge join forces for a progressive dinner-style evening, called “Flight Night.” The Starved Rock Trolley will take participants from place to place as the three locations offer a trio of tastings to sample.

The evening begins at Starved Rock Lodge where guests board the trolley and head to downtown Utica. The first stop is at August Hill Winery, where you will enjoy three delicious locally-made wines paired with small bites at the August Hill Winery/Illinois Sparkling Co. Tasting Room. The tasting room will be open for additional purchases.

Next, it’s off to Ottawa to experience the Lone Buffalo and Tangled Roots Brewing Company. Guests will try three small plates with beer pairings chosen by the brewers. The dishes will be Char Crusted Beef Tenderloin with Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Herb Salted Chicken with Roasted Vegetables and Citrus Cured Salmon with Couscous.
