Little Explorers

On January 10, Four Rivers Environmental Center invites children and their parents/guardians to come out and participate in the “Little Explorers” program! There will be a variety of hands-on activities offered, including a story, games, dancing, art, a hike, other outdoor activities and more.

The program formerly known as “Nature Play Days” is now called “Little Explorers.” Same program just a different name. Every program date a new nature theme is chosen. Themes planned for this season are January: Owls, February: Eagles, and March: Signs of Spring. While activities are designed for ages 3-5, younger children are welcome.

This program is free and provides a great opportunity for parents and children to meet in a natural setting to exchange ideas and get to know each other. Registration required by calling 815.722.9470 at least two days before each program date or you can click here to register online.
