Drop by to learn about Native American longhouses, one of several types of dwellings used by the Potawatomi. Our longhouse will be set dressed and open for viewing. Learn about the daily lives of a Potawatomi and discover how longhouses were built and used by the Native people. This is a drop-in program; come anytime between 10 a.m. and noon. Isle a la Cache Museum is an accessible facility. Visiting the longhouse requires walking less than 1 mile on paved and limestone trails across uneven terrain.
