Where is the Heritage Corridor?
The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) encompasses the communities and counties along the historic 97-mile Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor. The Heritage Corridor spans from the Chicago Portage Area just southwest of Chicago to LaSalle-Peru including the counties of Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Putnam. The region conveniently located along I-55 from Chicago to Joliet along I-80 west to LaSalle-Peru.

Learn to Play Ukelele

Uke 66 is a premiere ukulele duo providing entertainment and education across the country. We are excited to welcome them to Pontiac on Saturday, May 4 to help celebrate the Red Carpet Corridor Festival. They will be teaching a workshop from 2:00-4:00 on the 4th; you can bring your own ukulele or try out one of theirs. Workshop participants will get the chance to play with the band during the concert that evening. Cost for the workshop (includes admission to the show!) is $15. Space is limited, so reservations need to be made in advance for the workshop.

The show starts at 7:00, doors at 6:30 and tickets are $5 in advance per person and no more than $20 for a family. Please call to make a reservation with family pricing. The ticket price will increase at the door to $8 per person. Tickets for the workshop and concert will go on sale Monday, January 21 and can be purchased online or over the phone. The box office is open 10:00-4:00 Monday through Friday and can be reached at 815-844-1187.
