Where is the Heritage Corridor?
The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) encompasses the communities and counties along the historic 97-mile Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor. The Heritage Corridor spans from the Chicago Portage Area just southwest of Chicago to LaSalle-Peru including the counties of Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Putnam. The region conveniently located along I-55 from Chicago to Joliet along I-80 west to LaSalle-Peru.

Tournament Rules

1. Tournament entries will be accepted beginning January 1, 2019. 2. Check-in begins at 11:30 AM on day of event. Entry closes at 12:15 PM. 3. Tournament is open to adult bowlers only. It is not open to high school bowlers. 4. Each team will consist of five bowlers, any combination of male and female. 5. The maximum entering team average is 1100 (total of averages for all five bowlers). 6. Handicap will be 80% of 1100 (divided by 5; each team gets 1/5 of each bowler's handicap). 7. Entering averages for each bowler will be: a. Highest 2017-2018 USBC league, PBA, or tournament average for 21 games. If no 2017-2018 average, 2016-2017 average will be used. b. If no average for prior two years, the highest current season league average of at least 21 games will be used (as of April 14, 2019). Bowlers using current league average must have verification from league secretary and/or verifiable standing sheet. c. Bowlers without verifiable average will use 220. d. Tournament officials reserve right to refuse/rerate any average or bowler using any available documents or resources. 8. It is the responsibility of team captains to verify each bowler's average. Failure to provide correct average may disqualify bowler or team. 9. Each team member bowls two frames per game. One bowler rolls frames 1 & 6, another rolls frames 2 & 7, another rolls frames 3 & 8, another rolls frames 4 & 9, and the last bowler rolls frames 5 & 10. 10. The order of bowlers may be changed after the completion of any game. 11. The field will be limited to a maximum of 16 teams on a first come, first paid basis. 12. Teams will change lanes for every game* following USBC league schedule format. 13. Each team game is bowled on a single lane. Each game may start as soon as both teams arrive for the match. 14. Scoring will be actual score plus handicap per game. The winner of each match will receive 30 bonus pins. In case of a tie, each team will receive 15 bonus pins. 15. This tournament is not sanctioned but USBC playing rules will apply. 16. 1 in 4 will cash. All prize money will be returned 100%. Prizes will be disbursed to team captains.

*Due to limited settee space, a paddock area will be provided for bowling bags. Bowlers should refrain from moving roller bags with each game change.
