Which city carries the nickname "City of Stone and Steel"? One hint, this city's once-thriving industrial plant rivaled Pittsburgh's steel power, and its stone foundations are more than 100 years old. At the Joliet Iron Works Historic Site, a naturalist will share the stories of the men who worked at this site, and the recipe to make iron and steel during this fascinating tour. Paved walkways are easily accessible for participants on this 1-mile tour. Registration required by Thursday, April 5.
