Rendezvous was a time when fur traders met to celebrate a successful season.

Join us as we refresh the 18th century rendezvous and update it for today's families. Celebrate as we connect the past and present with crafts, games and activities.

Feel what it's like to pull back a bow and shoot an arrow. Try your hand at fire starting with nothing but wood. Bask in live music and be dazzled by gifted storytellers.

When you've had your fill of fun outdoors, then relax in the air conditioned museum while exploring our new exhibits.

No registration is required for this free event.

Indoor facilities are accessible and outdoor activities will take place on level paths or natural surfaces across uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should call 815.886.1467, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
