Birds are amazing and well adapted animals. Learn about bird migration and the birds that visit the Des Plaines River in the winter. After an indoor presentation, venture outside to view some of the birds with spotting scopes and binoculars. Bring your own binoculars, cameras and scopes. Birds can be seen from inside and outside. Spend some time after the talk exploring the displays associated with another bird-related program, "Eagle Watch on the River." Dress for the weather and use caution while walking outdoors as snow and ice may be present on paths and parking areas. The building is accessible. Outdoor areas include paved and natural surface terrain.

For ages 18 or older. Registration required by Thursday, February 1: 815.722.9470.
