Enjoy the wonders of the world during the day and into the evening in a canoe or kayak. We will fit you with a personal flotation device and provide binoculars to enjoy the meteor shower over us and the water under us. Later we'll head back to shore and enjoy hot dogs and s'mores by a fire at the water's edge. Both canoes and kayaks will be made available for participants. When registering, please let us know your preference. Only ages 12 or older are allowed in kayaks. Be sure to wear clothes and shoes that can get wet. Previous experience is recommended but not required. The launch area is accessible by a paved trail from the parking lot. Complete your night by reserving a campsite at Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve and watch the meteor shower all evening. For ages 5 or older. Ages 17 or younger must be accompanied by a registered adult. Registration required by Thursday, August 10.
