Where is the Heritage Corridor?
The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) encompasses the communities and counties along the historic 97-mile Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor. The Heritage Corridor spans from the Chicago Portage Area just southwest of Chicago to LaSalle-Peru including the counties of Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Putnam. The region conveniently located along I-55 from Chicago to Joliet along I-80 west to LaSalle-Peru.

You must register by using the link below.*** Explore the wonderful world of cicadas virtually with your youngsters 3 to 5 years old. Discover where and how cicadas live and why they make so much noise! We'll read a very lovely cicada book together and even build some noise makers of our very own inspired by our friend, the cicada! Afterwards, take your family out on a hike in search of our new noisy friend. Fee: Free! Age: Ages 3-5 (accompanied by an adult).
