City of Ottawa, Music in the Park

Dates: Aug. 15, 2020 - Aug. 15, 2020
Times: 6:00PM
Category: Performing Arts
Location: Washington Square, Ottawa, IL

An evening of fun at Washington Square in Ottawa!

The City of Ottawa is glad that they can bring back a little normalcy with "Music in the Park". Social distancing and mask guidelines in accordance with the state's Phase 4 restoration plan will remain in force.

The schedule for "Music in the Park" is:

7/25 - Radium City Rebels - Local lads who strut their stuff in true homage to Elvis, Roy and '50s icons of early rock and rockabilly. Familiar to classic-rock lovers at area venues and festivals, it will be their first appearance at "Music in the Park". Visit their "Radium City Rebels" on Facebook.

8/8 - Flat Cats - The Flat Cats will deliver a fizzy cocktail of jazz, blues, contemporary classics, and timeless standards. Grounded by the lead vocals of Amanda Wolff and enriched by soaring saxes, this sextet was a hit with audiences at its first appearance in Ottawa a couple years ago. Visit www.flatcatsmusic.com for more.

8/15 - Mary and the Troublemakers - The park will ring out with the powerful vocals of lead singer Mary Pfeifer, whose quartet channels Roy (Orbinson), (Johnny) Cash, Connie (Francis), Patsy (Cline) and Elvis, among others. Visit www.marypfeifer.com/mary-the-troublemakers for more.

There will not be a rain location, so if there is a weather-related cancellation, an attempt will be made to reschedule. Also, we will not be able to have concession stands available.
