Where is the Heritage Corridor?
The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) encompasses the communities and counties along the historic 97-mile Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor. The Heritage Corridor spans from the Chicago Portage Area just southwest of Chicago to LaSalle-Peru including the counties of Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Putnam. The region conveniently located along I-55 from Chicago to Joliet along I-80 west to LaSalle-Peru.

The Hornbaker Gardens is a family owned and operated nursery located just 5 miles southeast of Princeton. Hornbaker Gardens is a specialty destination garden center, arboretum and botanical gardens in one beautiful location. Stroll through the extensive display gardens for inspiration. The garden center stocks over 400 varieties of hostas along with a large selection of perennials, tree & shrubs, daylilies and other perennials, grasses, aquatics, annuals, pottery, granite and much more to keep plant enthusiasts coming back week after week and year after year.

The many display gardens, trees and shrubs that have been planted since 1987 have turned Hornbaker Gardens into a scenic botanical gardens and arboretum. A stroll through the gardens is sure to inspire and educate visitors.
