The Vermillion Players present "Skits from The Carol Burnett Show" - April 4-7 and 11-14, 2019

The talented group from the Vermillion Players will be performing "Skits from The Carol Burnett Show" at Pontiac's Eagle Theatre during their run on April 4-7 and April 11-14. The April 4 and April 11 performances are show-only performances, and the other shows feature a buffet dinner catered by Bernardi's II.

From 1967 through 1978, one of the great staples of American television was the Carol Burnett Show, a sketch comedy/variety show that every week gave its audience the gifts of laughter and beautiful music/dancing. The talented regular cast and the never-ending array of guest stars kept the show entertaining and inspiring. Vermillion Players is happy to present a collection of selected sketches direct from the TV show, featuring some of Carol’s most famous characters. A mix of clever dialogue and outlandish slapstic, the two-act production will be sure to put a laugh in your voice and a smile on your face. There will even include a couple of musical numbers, just like Carol did. This will be a night of fun and nostalgia that you won’t want to miss.

The Carol Burnett Skits will be playing April 5-7 and 12-14 as a dinner theatre production. Tickets are $37 for adults and includes a buffet dinner catered by Bernardi’s II as well as the show. Fridays and Saturdays are evening performances with doors opening at 6:00 and dinner service at 6:15. Sundays are matinees with doors opening at 12:30 and dinner service starting at 12:45.

Thursday, April 4 and Thursday, April 11 are "Show-only" performances.  Show only tickets are $20 each and can be purchased online, over the phone, or at the door (as long as there are still seats available). Doors will open at 6:30 with the show beginning at 7:00 on these nights.

Tickets go on sale Monday, February 4 at 10:00 AM! The box office can be reached by calling 815-844-1187 or on the theater's Ticketing page. Box office hours are Monday through Friday 10:00-4:00.
