Where is the Heritage Corridor?
The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) encompasses the communities and counties along the historic 97-mile Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor. The Heritage Corridor spans from the Chicago Portage Area just southwest of Chicago to LaSalle-Peru including the counties of Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Putnam. The region conveniently located along I-55 from Chicago to Joliet along I-80 west to LaSalle-Peru.

2019 Plainfield Fest - Full of Family Fun, Live Music, and Great Food

Plainfield Fest 2019 - Downtown Plainfield

The 38th Annual Plainfield Fest located in Downtown Plainfield runs July 19-21, 2019. Come and enjoy live music, great food and family friendly fun! See below for some of the highlights and visit their website at https://www.plainfieldfest.org/ for up-to-date info and more.

Hours for the fest will be Friday 4:00pm- Midnight, Saturday 11:00am-Midnight and Sunday 12:00pm-6:00pm.

Plainfield Fest - Carnival

The carnival will be held at Plainfield Central High School and is open starting July 18th from 8:00pm-10:00pm for a sneak peek event with $25 BOGO unlimited wristbands.

Regular hours and pricing are:

Friday, July 19th 4:00pm-11:00pm, Saturday, July 20th 12:00pm-11:00pm, Sunday, July 21st 12:00pm-6:00pm ($25 for unlimited rides)

The Entertainment Tent will be up and running and the entry fees for after 5:00pm are $5 for Friday and $10 for Saturday.  This year’s line-up will not disappoint!

Saturday, July 20th

1:00pm-2:30pm / Low Voltage, 3:00pm-5:00pm / American English, 6:00pm-8:00pm/ 7th Heaven

Back this year is the Bags Tournament on Sunday, July 21st. Registration is from 11:00am-11:45am, with competition starting at Noon. 80 team maximum entry. $60 entry with $10 of your entry donated to the local non-profit Help Save Pets. 90% payout for prizes!
 

The fun continues on Sunday with the Pizza Contest. Stop by Sunday from 1:00pm-3:00pm for the Pizza Contest- it's the people's choice contest! $5 entry to try some amazing pizza!
