Pour Up a Glass of Wine and Enjoy Live Music!

Illinois’ largest wine festival is back again this weekend at the Matthiessen State Park in Utica, Il. With more than 25 Illinois wineries participating every year, pouring the fruits of their labor into every glass just for you to enjoy, you will be able to discover a wine that is perfect for your palate!

There will be a variety of tasty food vendors to fulfill those appetites and pair with all the wine tasting. Delicious selections from Passini’s Wood Fired Pizza and Mickey’s Massive Burritos will be there and ready to take your order.

Once you have your food and wine, find a seat and relax to live entertainment. On Saturday, enjoy Big Fun Band’s musical variety including covers from the 50s through the 90s, plus acoustic, blues, classic rock and more.

Next up is Jack Dupp & the Empty Bottles, a classic rock band that plays a mix of the most epic songs from the 60s through the 90s.

On Sunday, groove to the tunes of award-winning singer/song-writer and guitarist, Steve Sharp with the Steve Sharp Band, playing a wide variety of country, contemporary folk, blues, roots rock and modern American. Rock out with The PriSSillas, an all-star line-up band featuring former members of The Girl Next Door Band, The Fabulous Janes, Kimi Hayes Band and The Jim Peterik World Stage.

Admission is $25 in advance and includes a souvenir glass, wristband, and 7 tasting tickets. You can also buy tickets at the door for $35 which provides 5 tasting tickets. However, additional wine tickets can be purchased at the festival for $1 each.

To guarantee festival attendees’ safety, designated drivers can purchase $10 tickets in advance and receive 3 non-alcoholic beverage tickets. The price of these tickets will increase to $20 at the door and include 2 non-alcoholic drink tickets.

Whether you are enjoying a glass of wine, or just kicking back while listening to great tunes, get ready to have a fun time and make new friends!
