Pollyanna Brewing Company and BuckleDown Brewing Kick Off Oktoberfest
This time of the year, for some, is the "Most Wonderful Time of the Year." It's Oktoberfest, and Pollyanna Brewing Company and BuckleDown Brewing are kicking off the festivities in style. September 15 - Pollyanna Brewing CompanyPollyanna Brewing Company's Oktoberfest is taking place in Lemont, IL on Saturday, September 15. The party is so big, that its been moved to the Lemont Metra lot. Food will be available from Weber Grill and Gelsosomo's. Large and small pretzels, Pollyanna Oktoberfest Bier-Cheese Sauce, Smoked Bier-Bratwurst Sandwich with Bacon Kraut, Grilled Cheseburger, Grilled Mazzie Beer Can Chicken Sandwich, Schweinebrated (smoked pork shoulder) with Bier Gravy (made with Humpenscrump) and Braco Kraut, Bavarian Potato Sald, and Imported Apple Struden with Vanilla sauce. September 15 - BuckleDown BrewingHere's your chance to grab BuckleDown's traditional Oktoberfest beer (both in draft and to-go 6-packs). In all, a total of 10 draft beers will be on tap, including Oktoberfest, Hefeweizin and German-style Pils. Twisted Classics food truck will be on site. The outside entertainment features Curbside Island, Rt 45 Rock and Blues Review and Evil Burrito. After that, the party moves inside with music by JD Kostyk.
